DHS Detailed Budget Doc

I mentioned at the meeting that I discovered a remarkably 3600 page document that provides gory detail on the DHS budget.  Caveat is that after what we heard from Susan Ward, this budget detail may be rather different from what was passed by Congress.  I doubt, however, that the R&D section would be much different.

I have cautious optimism about new starts at DHS S&T this year, grounded only in a good meeting I had with a PM recently.  Based on that meeting, I am expecting a specific BAA within the next 75 days.  If that doesn't happen, I for one will go into 2009 with lower expectations than I presently have of the potential for doing business with DHS S&T.
